The route begins in Wedde, from where it is a short walk to the castle in Wedde. Only accessible via a magnificent bridge and definitely worth a stop. The castle is not the only place of cultural history. Halfway along the route, you will encounter a wooded hill. This is the Geselberg. The name says it all, unpleasant things happened here in the past. This is actually an old execution site.
