The Giezelbaarg was a place where judgments were enforced until 1803 that had previously been pronounced at the castle in Wedde. At the end of the 16th century, 22 men and women were still suspected of witchcraft and executed here. They also pass by the Sterenborg, which has been the residence of the Sterenborg family for 400 years.
