On this walk, you will go through a beautiful nature reserve from village to city. You start at the monumental church in Tolbert and walk along the Tolbertervaart, the Sterrenbos, and the shores of the Leekstermeer. Afterwards, you take a tour around the Lettelberterpetten, an old peat extraction area. Across the Hoendiep and along a sandy path at the edge of the Peizermaden, you will reach the city park and the main train station of Groningen.
