The fortress this route is named after is unfortunately not accessible. However, you can easily walk past it and view it from a distance. The route goes through the small village of Breede with a beautiful church and its corresponding rectory. Afterwards, you will walk through the woods for a bit to arrive in the large village of Warffum. There, we will cross the historic center before walking back toward Breede.
