No, don't immediately think of the 'sandbanks' in the Wadden Sea. Rottum is also a wonderful warf village, the oldest and with a particularly beautiful church. The way to Rottum takes you along quiet country roads, a peaceful cycle path, and a church path. After visiting this unique village, you take a half loop below the warf and walk again along quiet cycle paths and a single long straight road towards Usquert. Before you get there, enjoy, just before the end of this walk, over a kilometer of the most beautiful mansions in this region; some are almost small castles, so beautiful.
