Hiking over the Kurkeindse Heide along the forest ponds of Keijenhurk, this landscape in the south of Middelbeers offers variety between agriculture, plenty of woods and heath, as well as streams. Along the way, there is an opportunity to relax with a refreshing drink at the Brasserie 't Hert.
This area located at the border to the Kempen forms the boundary between Het Groene Woud and the more southern regions towards Flanders. There are gentle hills here and all paths are easily walkable, although there are some sections with loose sand.
Beautiful views are available, as well as large stretches of hiking trails where the silence of nature reigns.
