From Zwolle via Hattem and Wezepse Heide to Wezep (19.6 or 18.4 km)

From Zwolle via the Apeldoorn Canal and the General Veen to Hattem and further over Molecate and the Wezepse Heide to Wezep. Long route over the Wezepse Heide 19.6 km. Short route over the Wezepse Heide 18.4 km.

From Zwolle to the bike ferry over the IJssel. Along the Apeldoorn Canal and the center of Hezenberg to the Hezenvberger bridge over the canal.
Back along the canal and over the General Veen (juniper berries) and Wiesenberger Kolk to Hattem.

The General Veen has recently been fenced off, so the route can no longer go along the path between the juniper berries. However, it is still possible to access the General Veen through a gate. A loop between the juniper bushes could still be run. But other than that, it is very nice to walk along the paths between the juniper berries (there and back), especially when the heath is in bloom.

Break at the gastronomy in the center of Hattem (Market).
Through the alleys of Hattem and over the Grote Gracht to the estate Molecaten (gastronomy). Over the Trijsselerberg and then cross the highway.
Over the Wezepse Heide to Wezep station (gastronomy).

The long route (19.6 km) goes to the left at the top of the Wezepse Heide and continues over the second part of the heath.
The short route (18.4 km) goes straight where the long route branches off to the left. Then the first sandy path to the left and continue straight to Wezep station.
A total of 19.7 km.
