Hiking route Hoge Boekel, Lindermaten, Noaberpad

Starting point Het Hoge Boekel at Hoge Boekelerweg 64 in Enschede. Walk slightly to the left across the Hoge Boekelerweg and then turn right onto Glanerbruggeweg. Turn into the second road on the right. Follow this path for a while until you see a threshold beam over the stream on the left, which acts as a bridge. Cross here and maintain the path that leads to the right along the stream. At the end of this path, go slightly to the right and cross diagonally straight ahead (Lindermatenweg). Then take the first street on the right. After that, turn left behind the stream. This path winds a bit. Follow it until you reach Penninkskottenweg, which later becomes Strokappenweg. There, turn right. Then take the first right again (Hoge Boekelerweg) and turn right into Lonneker Markeweg. Go left onto the sand path and then keep left at the Y-junction. Then turn left. At some point, you will cross the Bonenkampbeek. At the end, turn left again and immediately right, down Hoge Boekelerweg to the starting and endpoint.

An alternative for walking the last stretch along Hoge Boekelerweg is: Take the Bonenkampweg on the right. Then turn left onto Glanerbruggeweg until the starting and endpoint. This route is a bit quieter. In terms of distance, there is not much difference.
