No fewer than eight North Sea beaches in Holland above Amsterdam have a blue flag, which stands for demonstrably clean and safe. Along the salty coast of Holland above Amsterdam, which is 52 kilometers long, you will find a wide variety of beaches. From Easy going Wijk aan Zee via the large dune area of Schoorl to the beautiful white sand of Callantsoog all the way to Den Helder. There are cozy family resorts with activity beaches but also trendy beaches with ditto beach bars where you can lounge all day long.
