The route starts at the Hogenboom holiday park De Berkenhorst and first runs along a quiet road. After 4 km, turn left onto the road to climb the watchtower over Kootwijkerzand. You see a breathtaking landscape. Kootwijkerzand is the largest sand drift in Western Europe. The route continues along a cycle path next to a shooting camp. After 12 km you will arrive at the radio park of Radio Kootwijk. The main building is a national monument. At the end of the route you will pass Pannenkoekenrestaurant Kootwijkerduin. You can blow out here for a Veluws menu with a delicious pancake.
