Starting point: Santpoort-Noord train station
End point: Overveen train station or Zandvoort train station
The route winds through the Zuid-Kennemerland National Park, which consists of dunes, estates, and beach. You walk through the estates of Duin- and Kruidberg and Midden Herenduin towards Kennemerduinen and the beach. At Parnassia, you can choose between two routes: along the beach to Zandvoort train station (15 km) or through the Kennemerduinen to Overveen train station (16 km). In the latter case, forest, bushes, and dune grass alternate.
In a short distance, there are significant elevation changes. The view from De Hazenberg is beautiful.
