Lonneker-Smulders Clay Hole Route

Starting point Café Sprakel, Dorpsstraat 141 Lonneker. With your back to the café, turn left and then immediately right, across the Bergweg to the Pastoor Balktstraat. Then turn left into Levinkskamp. After that, you'll find yourself back on the Bergweg. Turn right here and left at Wiefkerpad. Follow the Wiefkerpad until you reach the Alten Deventerweg. Turn right here and left at Smulders Kleigaten. Then go through the two Kleigaten (=to the right). Then cross the Alten Deventerweg again (to the left) and take the path to the right that runs parallel to the Oldenzaalsestraat. Turn left at the Meijerinksweg, cross the Oldenzaalsestraat, and turn into the Beukerpad. Turn right onto Beukerweg. Then turn right onto Ruiterkampweg (Bentmaatweg is also an option, as long as you continue on Ruiterkampweg afterwards). Finally, Ruiterkampweg leads into Lonneker Molenweg. Cross the Oldenzaalsestraat again to reach Scholten Reimerstraat, and you will come back to the Dorpsstraat at Café Sprakel.
