"The cycle route between the Hanseatic cities is a really great part of the Netherlands. I often cycled in the Netherlands, but this region was unknown to me. The cities themselves attract you to themselves. Their atmospheric markets, car-free and so inviting, their friendly residents, their beautiful buildings and their rich historical past invite you to relax, sit down on a terrace and watch. Every city has something to offer the cyclist. You stay in beautiful hotels or cozy B&B's, really something for everyone. In Deventer I tasted a shelf of specialties in 't Oer. That was really delicious and so beautifully presented. If you come to Deventer, definitely dine in 't Oer, cozy, tasty and such a friendly welcome there. They offer the tastiest snacks of every Hanseatic city. Do!! Everyone can enjoy these beautiful cities along the IJssel. I came by bike on the train from Antwerp to Zuthpen. But you can also rent a regular bike or an E-bike anywhere. The cycling routes are very clearly signposted and the cycle paths are as we know from the Dutch: great."
