The forest-rich route takes you through the Veluwezoom National Park. This consists of a large number of estates that were purchased by Natuurmonumenten. First, you walk through the hilly Onzalige Bosschen, which used to be part of the hunting grounds of the princes of Orange. On this part of the route, you have to climb and descend steeply. Afterwards, you will discover the impressive heath at the Posbank and the Zijpenberg.
From the Posbank and the Zijpenberg, you turn towards Velp station.
