This route goes along quiet and often long straight roads, characteristic of the Peel, through Liessel, Ysselsteyn, Heide, to the village of Veulen, the furthest point on the route.
Afterwards, the route goes to Griendtsveen, through the beautiful raised bog area between Griendtsveen and Helenaveen, to Neerkant and ends again in Heusden. There are hardly any bike paths along the route, only half a kilometer in Helenaveen, and the last 4 km to Heusden are on bike paths.
A longer variant of this route is the route "Through the Peel to Castenray".
