Loenense Waterfalls

This was dug in the crisis years and the water ends up in the Apeldoorn-Dierenskanaal. The spreng that supplies the water originates in the forests of the Schalter and consists of two parts, the Vrijenbergspreng and the Veldhuizerspreng. These are each about 6 kilometers long. There are also several side sprengen, so that a wide stream is gradually formed. With weir beams it is maintained in various places.

The stairs of the waterfall have been laid out. Along the road to it, all the trees were cut down a few years ago and new trees were planted.

The largest waterfall is located behind the large parking lot. About a 10-minute walk upstream, there are still a number of water stairs to be found.
