Cycling through the Vijfheerenlanden Park, Car: take exit 26 from the A27 to Lexmond. Shortly before Lexmond, follow the signs at the roundabout to the Tourism Change Point Lexmond (turn right at the roundabout, keep left and follow the parallel road for 450 m).
In the Middle Ages, five lords held sway in the Vijfheerenlanden. This also explains the name of this region on the border of South Holland and Utrecht. The landscape from that time is still recognizable. Within high dikes lies a mosaic of floodplains, orchards, meadow parcels, and endless grasslands.
