Pilgrims walk from Houthem (St. Gerlachus) to Rijckholt (St. Vincentius)

A beautiful pilgrimage walk between the two South Limburg pilgrimage sites Houthem-St. Gerlach (St. Gerlachus) and Rijckholt (St. Vincentius)

Saint Vincent is especially venerated for his help with human diseases and Saint Gerlachus for diseases among cattle.

A return trip largely via public transport is possible as follows:
Walk the route back to the (main) Kampweg in Gronsveld. Turn left here and take bus line 57 from Arriva to Maastricht at the bus stop Vroendalsweg 300 m further on the right.
From there, take the Arriva stopping train towards Heerlen and get off at the small station Houthem - St. Gerlach.
From there, it is a 7-minute walk to the church, the starting point of this route.

Overnight stays are possible at B&B Eetcafé Riekelt or B&B Jachthoes.
