From the city center through the greenery of Kerkrade on the way to Vijlen. Along the 3 museums of Kerkrade, the steam train travels through the Hambosje and over the Anselerbeek to the Wauwelpad. Over the industrial area Avantis at the back to the village of Bocholtz towards the German border and over the Hochdorf Oirsbach over the Silserbeek to Vijlen. In the meantime, we had a panoramic view and beautiful vistas, but also hilly landscapes, meadows, and farmland. Return from Nijswiller to Bocholtz. After that, we pass Avantis on the other side and travel along the 'Buitenrings' towards Locht with views of the 'Horse Landscape' and the 'Groene Vallei', arriving back at the starting point.
