Via Leveroy, you take backroads to Grathem.
From Grathem to Maasbracht, partly via backroads. From Maasbracht, you cycle towards Montfort to the Abbey Lilbosch. Then you cycle over the steep edge west of Koningsbosch and dive into Germany via economic roads.
Upon arriving in Tüddern, you ride along the cycling path through the valley of the Roode Beek (Rodebach) to Wehr. Then you ascend the plateau of Doenrade (Hillensberg). After Hillensberg, you cycle back into the Netherlands.
You descend to Oirsbeek and climb the Schatsberg. You cycle over the plateau of Doenrade and descend via the Slakweg to Castle Terborgh. After you have cycled under the A76, you cycle upwards via backroads (climb Lindeweg along Groeve Nagelbeek), then you descend through the hamlet of Grijzegrubben.

You now enter a relatively flat area and cycle past the castle of Wijnandsrade and over partly very rural gently rolling roads. Near Retersbeek, you take a narrow paved cycling path about half a kilometer long. Not long after, it’s a 3-kilometer climb to the hilly region via the Ransdalerweg / Karstraat. You then descend on the Koekoeksweg to the beautifully hidden village of Winthagen and climb the Geerweg to Colmont. You descend the short, very steep Colmontberg and climb the Korenweg, then you descend the 2-kilometer long Trintelerberg. Upon arriving in Eys, you climb the Kruisberg, which you then descend again via the steepest side to Wahlwiller. Then you cycle to Partij, where the route just before the Gulperberg turns towards Gulpen. But of course, you can also climb the Gulperberg as the finale!
