The Ansel valley or the Cranenweyer and known by the local population as the Green Long. Actually, this is the perfect name for this piece of nature in an urbanized area. The only reservoir in the Netherlands with a wealth of waterfowl. an old sloping beech forest where old manor farms were located and one has been renovated by Limburgs Landschap and is a beautiful (catering) location for walkers. There is also a castle with a castle pond.
