The Oude IJssel Route-East can be started at various locations and takes you through beautiful parts of the Gelderland Achterhoek. Possible starting points are: Hummelo (parking lot at Dorpsstraat and Park Camping De Graafschap at Loenhorsterweg) - Zelhem (at TOP on Stationsplein) - Doetinchem (at café De Kruisberg and Parkcamping 'De Graafschap') The original ANWB signposted route is 62 km long. Starting in Hummelo, this GPS route is split into two parts East, 38 km and West 31 km.
The ANWB signposted route no longer exists, as the ANWB has removed all the signs. Currently, only the Oude IJssel Route-East is available as a junction route on the ANWB website (https://www.anwb.nl/fietsroutes/routes/oude-ijssel-route-oost) The route may deviate from this GPS route at some points! The Oude IJssel Route-West is currently unavailable at the ANWB.
