A surprising detour around Camping and Restaurant de Bosrand in Sint Geertruid via the Savelsbos.
A varied walk that starts just next to the campsite through a true jungle with surprising plants and high sand walls. We walk along paved roads towards Sint Geertruid and also through a part of the Savelsbos. After Sint Geertruid, we see meadows and walk alongside fruit fields. Once back in the Savelsbos, we see the entrance to the flint mine of Rijckholt and shortly afterwards pass the geological monument the Henkeput. A walk with a lot of variety, not too long and not too short. You will get a great impression of the surroundings!
