The walk is best walked in this direction, then it is less difficult and the blockage of the footpath along the Worm near the pedestrian bridge and the steep stairs is less noticeable and this route is easy to follow.
The Bleijerheiderbeek is a border stream and meanders through the Peschbeemden. From here it is a cat's leap to the other border river, the Worm. A beautiful nature walk with some history along the way such as the Siegfried Line and the Furst quarry and the beautiful buildings Schloss Eurode and abbey Rolduc
