Together with the Aa-Land Cooperative, we offer several walks via Routeyou.

This loop around Heeswijk Castle is a beautiful walk to get a good impression of the surroundings of the Castle in just over an hour.

We first head towards Heeswijk Castle, walking around it. We leave Heeswijk Castle along an old access road and gate with sculptures, heading towards meadows and some farms. Along paved roads, we walk to the stream "de Leijgraaf". We follow this stream and cross the road between Middelrode and Heeswijk. To the left at the weir, we often see turtles swimming. A little bridge ahead with an information board takes us to the other side of the stream, and we continue through the meadows. We walk to observation tower De Heeskijk via the Looz Corswarem Hoeve. This observation tower is our last destination. After this, we return to the parking lot after a short walk along the Aa.

The parking lot is accessible via the N279 exit Heeswijk-Dinther, and then follow the signs for the parking lot "P Kasteel Heeswijk".
