Start: parking area Estate Nienoord

The walk goes over the estate and along the Leekstermeer. At the end of the walk, there is an extension possibility to the 12th-century church of Midwolde. There you can see, among other things, the burial tomb created by Rombout Verhulst for Anna van Ewsum. The church is regularly open. See online for opening times.
