In Middle Limburg there are many gravel roads, ideal for riding a Strade Bianche route inspired by Tuscany, only here not with hills but through many nature reserves that the region is rich in.

The route starts in Meijel at the roundabout at the Noordervaart and consists of 52% gravel roads and gravel bike paths, which can also be well traversed with a race bike with 28 mm wide puncture-resistant tires (and in good conditions with 25 mm wide puncture-resistant tires).

You will cycle successively over the following unpaved roads (gravel roads and gravel bike paths), clockwise:
- along the Noordervaart,
- along the Helenavaart and the Deurne Canal,
- along the Breedschen Peel (near Helenaveen),
- exit road from mini-camping de Peelweide,
- around the built-up area of Grashoek,
- through nature reserve Marisberg,
- along nature reserve Scherliet,
- at the hamlet of Maris,
- through nature reserve Vlakbroek,
- in the valley of the Kwistbeek,
- through nature reserve Langhout,
- through nature reserve Kesselse Bergen,
- Liberation Road,
- through nature reserve Heldense Bossen,
- through nature reserves Bovensbos and Keuperheide,
- through nature reserve Kesseleikerbroek,
- along the Drainage Canal,
- along nature reserve Brookberg,
- through nature reserve Waterbloem,
- through nature reserve Asbroekerheide,
- along nature reserve Spaanse Bos (near Heibloem),
- through nature reserve Weijenhout,
- and finally again along the Drainage Canal.
