Varied cycling tour around Doorn

From/to: starts at TOP parking lot* at the bottom of the Hoogstraat, 3956 NA Leersum, Utrechtse Heuvelrug, The Netherlands. Free parking.

In every season, this is a beautiful bike ride through the woods of the Utrechtse Heuvelrug and along the Langbroekerwetering. Immediately after the start you climb the Hoogstraat and 6 km further on the Maarnse Berg. There you have a beautiful view of the Zanderij Maarn and the Erratic Stone Island. The special hamlet of Palmstad is about 11/4 km away from the route. After the hamlets of Nieuw-Sterkenburg and Sterkenburg, you will cycle past seven beautiful castles on the Langbroekerwetering. Before you leave the transition area between the Kromme Rijn and the Utrechtse Heuvelrug, you pass the hamlets of De Steenen Brug and Darthuizen.
