The Sheepfold - Heeswijk Castle, the Ruins of Seldensate, a Watchtower and the Wijboschbroek

Especially for the Sheepfold in Schijndel we make a series of walks with the Sheepfold as the start and end point. The sheepfold is one of the most beautiful places in Schijndel. In addition to the typical cultural heritage that has been rebuilt here, it is above all the unique inhabitants (the sheep of course) who invite you to come and visit this special location. You can also admire a number of unique buildings such as an authentic Flemish barn, a converted wagon barn and a haystack with a barn.

This extra long walk from the Schaapskooi in Schijndel makes a large loop through the woods of the Wijboschbroek to Heeswijk Castle and the Ruins of Seldensate. On the way we pass viewing tower "De Heeskijk" where you can also find one of the nicest picnic spots. Furthermore, we walk along the Zuid-Willemsvaart and the rivers Aa and Leijgraaf. A varied adventurous trip with longer straights on asphalt and sandy paths but also on narrow winding paths where there is plenty to see. Be surprised by the beautiful surroundings!
