From/to: start at parking lot * at the bottom of the Maarsbergseweg, 3941 MK Doorn, municipality of Utrechtse Heuvelrug, The Netherlands. Free parking.

In any season, this is a beautiful walk around the built-up area of Doorn. On the south side of the more than 11 centuries old village you can enjoy a panoramic view. You will pass a former tram depot and the hamlet of Palmstad. In the higher woods you walk past a burial mound and the Doornse Kei. Finally, for a magnificent view of the Utrechtse Heuvelrug and the surrounding area, climb the watchtower in the Kaapse Bossen.
