Description by the author

Near the forest hut in Schaijk is a parking lot from where we can take a nice walk. Right at the start we find the Docus de Das adventure path specially designed for children. Here you will find various playground equipment along a paved walking path. Furthermore, we walk along a large lake, through forest and heathland and through the grazing area of the wild grazer. If you look at the route map you will see a long straight in the walk. In that area you have the best chance of spotting a wild grazer. Sometimes they just lie on the path resting. There are several benches along the way including a picnic area within a fence to keep the wild grazers out.

A nice varied walk through the Maashorst. Enjoy the versatile nature with the main goal of spotting a wild grazer.
