Grote ronde Oud Meer, Sonse Heide, Joe Mann Pavilion and Nieuwe Heide

The walk starts from an easily accessible parking lot (alternative parking at Joe Mann pavilion).

Via a spacious path and a bridge we start the walk through the drifting sand along the Oud Meer. Here we find several benches to enjoy the view. After 1.5km we cross a sandy plain and leave the area through a gate. After this we walk through forests and after 3km we pass the Joe Mann Pavilion and the Joe Mann monument. After the pavilion we walk through the woods and fens of the Nieuwe Heide. Also here regularly a bench and various viewpoints. At about 7.5km we pass an observation tower with a view over the ecozone of Rendac. Here we find some information boards. Note! During the walk we cross a busy road 3 times.
