We start just behind Epe from a great parking spot. Soon we reach the first open fields, gradually transitioning into vast heather fields. It is quiet, ancient, and very soothing.
Halfway through in Vierhouten, it's wonderful for lunch. Back through forests and once again the fields of the Tongerense Heide. Truly one of the most beautiful hikes in the North Veluwe. With over 20 kilometers, it's quite a trek, but when you're constantly enjoying it, it's a piece of cake!
Note: I walked it again (and made it even more beautiful) on 14/3/2024. It remains lovely there in the North Veluwe!
