Noord Coffee Roasters - German Line
An extra long walk on the railway of the German Line via the Center of Veghel, the Bunders and Mariaheide.

Together with Noord Coffee we offer some walks that start and end at the Noordkade in Veghel where there is plenty of opportunity to park the car.

Via the old port, the center of Veghel and the Bunders district we walk towards Mariaheide. In the Bunders district we still walk over an old drawbridge that used to serve at the entrance of the old port. Via Mariaheide we reach a sandy path where the railway tracks of the German Line used to be. Here the iron railway sleepers are gone, a good distance away at Veghel they are still present. We are going to see it all because what follows is a 5.5km long walk in a straight line on sandy paths and along tracks. Only when we walk against the Zuid-Willemsvaart do we turn and walk over the NCB-laan back to the Noordkade.

On the Noordkade there is a large parking lot where the car can be parked. Please note, the first rows are a blue zone. Before and after the walk you can browse around here because there is plenty to see. You can score a nice cup of coffee near the starting point at the Noord Coffee Espressobar, under the large hourglass.
