A beautiful circular walk through the Anstel Valley near Kerkrade.
You pass the Hoeve Nieuw Erenstein and walk over the dam of the only reservoir in the Netherlands, and then through a beautiful beech slope forest. You return through the castle garden of the old Erenstein Castle.
The starting and ending point is the (free) parking lot opposite Erenstein Castle.
