The lime kilns are no longer in use, but the remnants are characteristic of this area and partially determine the attractiveness of this hike. The midwives' path and the beautiful fruit trees, alongside the lovely view, the hollow roads, and not least the orchid garden in Kunrade, are all reminders. In short, this walk is a must.
