Loop ZH Visit the Sand Motor in Loosduinen and Scheveningen

Cycling route from the parking lot at Kijkduin through the dunes to the largest beach in the Netherlands, the Zandmotor, located between Ter Heijde (Monster) and Kijkduin and Ockenburgh (Loosduinen). On the other side of the bike path lies the nature reserve Solleveld, a vulnerable and special dune area. This area can be visited with day tickets (available on the linked website) and the entrance can be reached via Monterseweg.
Afterwards, there is another large loop through western The Hague and through the Westduinpark, back to the starting point at Kijkduin. The Westduinpark is located along the Zuiderstrand and is a perfect place to enjoy the sea air.

In the northernmost part of the route, you will be near the harbor of Scheveningen, so you might be able to catch some fish there. Along the way, there are also plenty of places (including beach pavilions) to have lunch or enjoy a break on a terrace.
