Hiking route for nature lovers with some conditions. The hike starts in Kerkrade and leads through village views and old mining sites to Benzenrade and to the lime kilns in Ubachsberg. In spring, in late April/early May, the meadows on the Putberg bloom in full bloom with dandelions, hawthorn blossoms along the trails and many beautiful wildflowers. At the top of the Putberg you have a wonderful view over Parkstad and on the forest path you can smell the beautiful blooming bear garlic. The adjacent terrain full of dandelions or, a little later, full of fluff from this flower. In June and even later, this field shines with sown meadow flowers and sunflowers. Above it a magnificent panorama where you are in the distance Geleen.
