Limburg Cycling and Grimpeur have created several cycling routes that send you over undiscovered hills and roads. This route goes right through the Grensmaas valley, a beautiful region in Limburg, but which is somewhat overshadowed in terms of cycling fame by the South Limburg Hill Country.
The Grensmaas valley is best known to cyclists for the wonderful gently sloping roads along water and farmlands. But there is also a more challenging side to this area. Make sure you start this 64-kilometer job with rested calves, because there is a lot of steam in this route! The route is littered with short explosive climbs that will make your legs very difficult.
