The outside area of Kerkrade is also called 'de Groene Long', while the official name is Cranewyer. The only (small) reservoir in the Netherlands is located in this border region where many water birds settle. A wonderful walking area with central Nieuw Erenstein, the brasserie and the information center of Limburgs Landschap.
