A wonderful route from the center of Strijen.
We cycle along the most beautiful parts of the Hoeksche waard. The Oude Land van Strijen, the beautiful Zuiddijk and Zwanegatsedijk towards the Binnenbedijkte Maas better known as De Binnenmaas and then the beautiful polders Groot-Koninkrijk and the Mariapolder are discussed.
Recreationally, the Binnenmaas is a highlight and the dikes in the Sint Anthoniepolder give a beautiful view of this.
Don't forget to stop at Hoeksche zuivel, Zwanegatsedijk 1a, 3299 LT Maasdam. Delicious artisanal ice cream and you can also buy other traditional dairy products there ..... highly recommended.
Tired but satisfied we can rest on the beautiful terrace on the water, De Keen, at Café Reuse Gezellig.
