GPS recording of 9 October 2021 of a beautiful part of the Hilligenpad and back over the wiefkerpad past the care farm https://www.derokker.nl/ which also maintains the wiefkerpad

After reasonable rainy days it is best not to go into the forest for the vjiver but along the road and after the pond turn to the right that part you then double walk or skip

Hilligenpad is a long-distance route that starts in Hof Espelo and runs via Lonneker, De Snippert, Boerskotten, Oldenzaal, Tankenberg, De Lutte, Everloo, Volthe, Groot Agelo, Kuiperberg, Brandtoren, Baasdam, Fleringerveld, Het Stift, Saasveld, Hertme and Zenderen to its terminus Zwanenhof. The route is 100 km long. The route is indicated by the white-purple arrows.
