Aa-land Ommetje Abbey of Berne is a junction walk of 5km around the Abbey of Berne.
Berne Abbey is the longest existing monastic community in the Netherlands and has an eventful history. The abbey was founded in 1134, in the hamlet of Berne on the Meuse, near Heusden. Come in here! The book and abbey shop, located on the grounds of the Abbey of Berne, is a true specialty store in the field of spirituality and religion. Book lovers come from far and wide to browse the large collection in peace, enjoying a cup of coffee.
