This adventurous walk starts at Café 't Groene Woud, makes a beautiful loop through nature reserve de Geelders and goes through the catchment area of the Dommel. On the way we will have to cross the Dommel with a towbar. Well, call it trekpont.

There is a parking lot at Café 't Groene Woud. Note! For walkers on the other side of the track because the parking lot opposite the Café is for visitors.

A nice place to start the walk and take a look around at the German Line. A few trainsets can still be admired on site. We cross the railway and walk in a large loop through the Geelders nature reserve. Lots of variety of paths and views.

Back at the German Line we see a nice place to have a picnic. Here too there is a lot to see and read.

The second part of the walk goes through the catchment area of the Dommel. Several viewpoints but the highlight is of course the trek over the Dommel. Best a big tow. We were welcomed with relief by people on the other side who had been waiting for a while because the ferry was on the other side. This is not necessary, if the ferry is on the other side you can bring it to you with the rope.

After the ferry we walk through a flower meadow and a little later even past a quiet garden. Through some beautiful views we meander along the Dommel for a while after which we turn to the last part of the route.
