Ommetje Broskens

Starting points : The three detours can start at junction 54 (on the corner of Nieuwstraat and St. Janstraat) in Baarle-Nassau. Near junction 54 is the Loswal car park and the bus stop for buses to Breda, Tilburg and Turnhout. Ommetje Zondereigen can also start at junction 24 at the St. Rumoldus church in Zondereigen.

Put on your walking shoes and choose one of the three detours Baarle on the border between Belgium and the Netherlands.

YOU WILL EXPERIENCE HIGH AND DRY AS LOW AND WET ! Staatsbosbeheer has built a boot path along the highest point of the Broskens. Dead ends lead to the wet meadows. The lower Manke Gooren are not limping. They were swamps near the Marksken, Marke Gooren. Now it is a wet nature reserve, with a REAL BOOT PATH.
