If nature and technology appeal to you, this is your route. A beautiful mostly unpaved route through natural areas with bits of technology in between.

I have also designed this off-road track to be extra winding, and you can feel it. The first few kilometers are paved, then we start climbing on unpaved roads. We will definitely ride unpaved for the first 60 km. After descending the first ridge, we reach the Begna river. Later you will see that all the water is connected and flows into or branches off from the Begna. A short stretch of pavement to cross and then we’ll ride kilometers on the unpaved Sameigevegen. This is again beautiful, various streams and lakes cross our path. All this water is related to the Begna, as will become clear later. Diversity in nature is once again the motto. The route is also full of hairpin turns, both unpaved and paved. Is the paved section boring? No, certainly not with these turns, and with an off-road motorcycle, you can take them at speed. The CRF has plenty of power, and in this configuration with a horsepower exhaust, it easily conquers steep slopes and turns. After Sameigevegen, we head to Gol, and I have also discovered special roads there. The nature is beautiful, so watch for the special yellow/white mosses. These grow in various places in Norway, and I have found them here. You can find them near a connected section of 3 lakes along Lomtjernanvegen. After Gol, we encounter more hairpin turns and climb very steeply on unpaved roads between Valdresvegen and Ovrevegen (Fv221). A bit of paved road and then left onto the unpaved Golsfjellvegen, which is another toll road towards the beautiful Tisleifjorden. There we find a coffee house, recreation, and a hydropower plant, definitely worth a visit. After that, the vegetation changes for the umpteenth time on this route, and we ride unpaved through a beautiful environment. We then arrive at Mønin, the bridge over Åbjøra. Definitely a recommendation to stop here and enjoy this wild water spectacle. At the end of the route, we also encounter several small rivers with rocks over which the water flows wildly.

The last section is again beautifully unpaved with great climbing sections. With a bit of luck, you might see reindeer. This is interspersed with views over wild water especially after it has rained sufficiently.
