Since 2016 this statue can be admired in Muktinath.
The statue was dedicated on November 4, 2022.
The statue is 10 meters high and weighs 60 tons, making it the largest stone Buddha statue in Nepal . It is crafted with the type of Pharphing stone. Pharping is a village located about 23 km from Kathmandu.
