Description

It takes about an hour and a half of climbing to reach Jhong or Dhamang from Kagbeni.

To get from Kagbeni to Muktinath , the road through Jhong would be a pleasant and sporty alternative to the asphalt road.

From here we have a beautiful view of Nilgiri Mountain and Kali Gandaki Basin. Jhong was the original Marpha who moved to the current location long ago.

Jhong is at an altitude of 3044 m.

There is a beautiful apple orchard here.
