In the city of Cebu, in 2005, a team of antropologists measured the testosterone level of 465 single men in their ealry 20s. They measured their testosterone level regularly.. But they noticed something strange. 208 of the 465 got married , and 162 had children. As expected, the testosterone level declined with age. But rate of decline was much higher when they were married. And the testosterone level plummeted who both married and got children. Thos who stayed single had the least declining testosterone level. What was also strange is that initially, the men who had the highest level in testosteron wers also the mose likely to get married.
