Luz, also known as Praia da Luz, is a town west of the Portuguese town of Lagos. Both towns are located in the Faro district, west of the city of the same name.
Luz is a tourist resort in the Algarve. The buildings are primarily shaped around the large beach that Luz has. This is also the town where the then 3-year-old Madeleine McCann was abducted in 2007. The case remains unresolved to this day.
